Our Story

B&G Pool Service was established in 2012, with the focus of installing inground pool liners and providing reliable pool service for the Rochester and surrounding areas. We have an outstanding reputation for fair pricing and high quality of work.

Thomas Smith, owner and lead technician of B&G Pools, has been in the pool industry for over 25 years. He has extensive experience in custom liner installation, as well as the opening and closing of pools. Tom’s first 15 years in the pool business were in the building of inground pools and his knowledge of the workings of pools is second to none.

All liners are custom made to the specifics of your pool for the perfect fit. We sell and install GLI liners. We have been with GLI since the start of B&G. GLI provides a solid 27 mil liner at the cost of a standard 20 mil liner. The 27 mil liners are designed to address our harsh winter seasons. We also sell GLI
Winter Safety Covers. These covers are a ProMesh material. The ProMesh is designed to keep 98% of the sun’s rays out. This will give you a nice clear pool when it is time to open in the spring. New this year, B&G Pools will be expanding to provide a delivery service which will include all pool chemicals, filter sand, pool salt, sand filters and Hayward pumps and heaters.
